Lullaby of London

Some of my favorite songs of all time are from the Irish band The Pogues and “Lullaby of London” is my favorite of those songs. Over time “Lullaby of London” (written by Shane MacGowan, 1988) has become a staple of my live sets. I played it for Amy on one of our first dates. We processed from our wedding to it. I’ve recorded it so many times and in so many different ways that it sometimes feels like my song. This is the version we used to practice the band for our wedding.

I remember this song…. had a great time at your wedding!

  2. For how chaotic it was, it was a wonderful day. And you were fantastic on the drums!

I remember discovering the Pogues with you in High School my friend – great song! :)

  4. It’s amazing how much music you introduced me to. Pogues and Peter Gabriel will forever me tied in my head because you let me borrow them. Some albums influence you for a long time.
