When I started leading music at Glendora Friends Church, there was this kid who played drums for me named Andres Estrada.  He was only in high school at the time but even then he was playing out on Saturday nights and then rolling into the sanctuary half-asleep to play for me.  Even in a semi-comatose state I could tell this guy knew how to play, so when he asked me to play keyboards in a band he was contracted to put together for the opening of the Birch Street Promenade I immediately said yes.  In between the jazz and rock standards we’d play, we throw in some jam sessions that would usually move in and out of every style of music we could reasonably work in.  Rockabilly was one of those jam session tunes that would draw a nice crowd.

This recording is a demo I made after the first time we played the song.
